Why cPanel & WHM matters.
cPanel & WHM are the industry-standard hosting control panels, and every Brixly reseller plan includes them, or DirectAdmin if you prefer. Here's what that means for you and your clients.
-
The panel clients know
Many of your clients will have used cPanel before, and there's a guide for almost any task a search away, so they settle in quickly.
-
Easy to move
A cPanel account moves between cPanel hosts as one standard backup: files, databases, email and settings together. That's how our free Migration Centre brings accounts in.
-
Built for the people using it
Clients manage their own email, files, databases, SSL and WordPress installs from clear, task-based screens, so everyday changes don't need you.
-
You stay in control
WHM lets you set up packages and limits, and create, change or suspend client accounts yourself. Each client gets their own separate cPanel account.
The control panel each host gives you.
Summarised from the full table on each comparison page, where it's sourced.

|---|---|---|
| Brixly | cPanel & WHM, or DirectAdmin. A separate account for every client. | |
| 20i | 20i's own panels: My20i for you, StackCP for your clients. cPanel only as a licence on its self-managed VPS. | Brixly vs 20i |

| SiteGround | SiteGround's own Site Tools. No cPanel, WHM or DirectAdmin. | Brixly vs SiteGround |

| GoDaddy | A white-label storefront for GoDaddy's products. Multi-site plans share one cPanel account, and WHM is on its self-managed VPS only. | Brixly vs GoDaddy |
More than the control panel.

Plan by plan, with sources.
Plan by plan
Each page compares the plans you'd choose between, product by product, using each host's published prices on the date shown.
Every figure sourced
Prices, limits and terms are footnoted to the provider's own pages, so you can check them yourself.
Where they're ahead
Every comparison says where the other host comes out ahead, and its full table shows every row we compared.
Questions people ask.
Are these comparisons kept up to date?
Each page shows the date its prices were checked, and every figure links to its source in the notes. Prices and plans change, so check the provider's own site before you buy.
Do the comparisons only show where Brixly wins?
No. Each page has a section on where the other host is ahead, and its full table lists every row we compared, whichever host comes out ahead.
Why not compare every host in one table?
Each host sells different plans on different terms, so we compare them one at a time, plan by plan, rather than squeezing them into one table.
Which Brixly plan should I compare?
If you sell hosting to clients, start with reseller hosting: a separate cPanel or DirectAdmin account for every client. For your own sites, start with web hosting, or Premium hosting for busier sites.
