1. Comparison based on prices, features and terms published on brixly.uk, client.brixly.uk and help.brixly.uk, and on godaddy.com/en-uk (product pages and their disclaimers, help centre, Universal Terms of Service revised 3 June 2026, Hosting Agreement revised 30 September 2026, Refund Policy revised 14 September 2026, Reseller Agreement revised 2 February 2026) and in GoDaddy's UK online basket, all checked 5 October 2026. Prices and features can change, so check each provider's website before buying. GoDaddy is a trade mark of GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC. 2. Both providers list prices excluding VAT. GoDaddy's product pages say "All prices exclude applicable taxes and fees (including ICANN fees)", and its UK basket adds VAT at 20% (for example £9.58 on Economy's £47.88 for 12 months). Brixly: Hosting Terms 10.4. Every price on this page is marked + VAT or inc VAT; inc VAT figures add UK VAT at 20%.
3. Brixly's £1 first month (£1.20 inc VAT) applies to the first monthly invoice for a new Brixly Infinity or Infinity Plus web hosting plan, or a new cPanel or DirectAdmin reseller plan (Premium Reseller's first month is 50% off instead), then the plan's list price applies. Yearly plans are paid upfront at the full yearly price. Cloud servers have no first-month offer. The renewal price is our current list price, which can change (note 5).
4. GoDaddy Web Hosting prices from its UK basket on 5 October 2026, + VAT. Economy (1 website): 12 months £47.88 (£3.99 a month), renewing at £107.88 a year (£8.99 a month); 24 months £124.56; 36 months £201.24, renewing at £323.64; 60 months £359.40; 120 months £742.80; each longer term renews at £8.99 a month for the same period; 1, 3 or 6 months at £11.99 a month. Deluxe (10 websites): 12 months £71.88, renewing at £155.88; 36 months £302.04, renewing at £467.64; 1 month £14.99. Ultimate (25 websites): 12 months £89.88, renewing at £203.88; 36 months £377.64, renewing at £611.64; 1 month £19.99. Each plan is one cPanel account. GoDaddy's plan page shows the 12-month price ("For first 1-yr term") and says: "Special introductory pricing valid for the initial purchase term only. Product renewal pricing subject to change." Plans renew automatically for the same period at GoDaddy's then-current rates until you turn auto-renew off (Universal Terms of Service, section 16).
5. Billing and price changes. Brixly bills monthly with no minimum term, or yearly; after the first 30 days, cancelling takes effect at the end of the calendar month, and yearly prepayments are non-refundable after 30 days (Hosting Terms 13.4). Brixly plans renew at their list price, and Brixly may change its fees on 3 days' notice (Hosting Terms 10.3). GoDaddy's Universal Terms of Service (section 16) say its products renew automatically at its then-current rates until you turn auto-renew off, and that for services bought for a period of months or years, price changes take effect at renewal.
6. GoDaddy's plan page says: "Free SSL certificate with hosting plan purchase (annual plans or longer) ... For Economy plans, SSL will automatically renew after the first year at the then-current price until canceled." Its UK basket lists Economy's Standard SSL as "Free for 1 Year", then "Auto-renews at £89.99/year" (+ VAT). GoDaddy's help centre says its free AutoSSL "is available for Web Hosting (cPanel) Deluxe, Ultimate, and Maximum plans and all Web Hosting Plus plans" (help article 40020); another help article says AutoSSL is "included with most Web Hosting (cPanel) plans" (41641), and its Web Hosting FAQ says "AutoSSL is free and included in your hosting plan". In October 2025 the Economy card read "Hosting auto-renews Oct. 2026 at £197.87. SSL renews annually at £89.99" (Wayback Machine, 18 October 2025), which is £107.88 for hosting plus £89.99 for the SSL. Brixly's free SSL is issued in cPanel for each domain that points at your hosting, and renews automatically while you have the plan.
7. Brixly CPU, RAM and entry-process figures are per-account maximum limits on shared, CloudLinux-isolated servers, not dedicated resources, and our Fair Usage Policy applies: Infinity 1 CPU core, 1GB RAM and 30 entry processes; Infinity Plus 2 cores and 2GB; Premium Business 6 cores, 6GB RAM and 100 entry processes; Enterprise 8 and 8GB; Platinum 12 and 12GB. Reseller limits apply to each client account: up to 2 CPU cores, 2GB RAM, 30 entry processes, IO 30MB/s and 1,024 IOPS; Resource Boost+ doubles one account's CPU, RAM and entry processes for £4.95 a month + VAT. GoDaddy's help centre ("Resource limits", plans bought on or after 1 February 2022) lists limits for each account, however many sites it hosts. Web Hosting: Economy 1 core, 512MB RAM, 20 entry processes, 25GB; Deluxe 1 core, 1GB, 30, 50GB; Ultimate 2 cores, 1.5GB, 40, 75GB; each 250,000 inodes, 500 SMTP relays an hour and 30 concurrent MySQL connections. Web Hosting Plus: Launch 2 cores, 4GB, 100GB disk, 100 entry processes, 500,000 inodes; Enhance 4, 8GB, 200GB, 150, 1,000,000; Grow 8, 16GB, 300GB, 200, 1,500,000; Expand 16, 32GB, 400GB, 300, 2,000,000; 500 SMTP relays an hour. GoDaddy's plan cards describe Web Hosting Plus vCPUs and RAM as "guaranteed". GoDaddy's Hosting Agreement (revised 30 September 2026) limits all its Linux hosting plans to 25% of one CPU core, 512MB of RAM, 100 website connections, 100 active processes and 1MB/s of disk IO, limits its Web Hosting plans to 250,000 inodes and 100GB of disk, and limits each database to 1GB and 1,000 tables.
8. Brixly's "no set limit" features are subject to our Fair Usage Policy, which caps standard shared accounts at 50GB of disk and 500,000 inodes, Premium accounts at 300GB and 3,000,000 inodes, databases and dumps at 1GB (adjustable on Premium at our discretion), and email at 100 mailboxes per domain and 20GB per account on standard shared hosting (Premium has no set limit on mailboxes). Sites on one account share its resources.
9. Backups. Brixly web hosting includes daily JetBackup backups that you restore yourself in cPanel; Premium Hosting includes automatic JetBackup backups stored off-site, including email; every cPanel and DirectAdmin reseller plan includes daily JetBackup backups of every client account, restorable item by item (files, databases, email accounts, DNS zones, SSL certificates, cron jobs and FTP users). Brixly backups are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed: our help centre excludes accounts over 10GB or 200,000 inodes from daily backups on standard hosting; Premium accounts over 300GB or 3,000,000 inodes, or whose backup runs longer than our Fair Usage Policy allows, may be excluded; and some file types (such as .zip, .sql, .wpress and .mp4) are excluded from reseller backups. GoDaddy's help centre says "All Web Hosting (cPanel) plans come with an automatic 1-day daily backup" and "If you need access to 30 days of backups, purchase Website Backup"; its Web Hosting page says you can "Recover your entire hosting account from the previous day". GoDaddy's Hosting for WordPress plans keep daily backups for 30 days. Both providers' terms make you responsible for keeping your own backups.
10. Brixly web hosting includes cpGuard malware detection and automatic clean-up, with CloudLinux account isolation; every Premium plan includes cpGuard malware detection and removal, a web application firewall and DDoS protection. GoDaddy's Web Hosting plans include Website Security Standard (Web Application Firewall, malware and uptime monitoring, and automated malware removal) as a 1-month free trial on annual or longer plans. Its Web Hosting Plus cards say "Site security included", and in its UK basket on 5 October 2026 a 12-month or longer Web Hosting Plus order added "Website Security - Standard" priced "Free until 05/11/2026"; a 1-month order did not. GoDaddy sells Website Security Standard separately at £15.99 a month, or £65.88 for the first year then £143.88 a year, + VAT (from £4.99 a month on a 2-year term, per its Website Security page). Its Hosting for WordPress plans include automated malware scans and removal.
11. GoDaddy's free domain is one .COM, .NET, .ORG, .CO, .INFO, .BIZ, .US or other listed extension (.uk and .co.uk are not on the list), with a new annual or longer Web Hosting or Web Hosting Plus plan. An ICANN fee of £0.15 a year applies. The domain is free for the first year of the plan, then renews at GoDaddy's then-current price; GoDaddy's .com page lists additional years at £18.99 + VAT. If you cancel a product that came with a free domain, GoDaddy deducts the domain's list price from your refund (Refund Policy). Brixly doesn't include a domain: .co.uk is £6.99 and .com £10.29 a year + VAT, the same to register and renew.
12. On annual or longer plans, GoDaddy adds a Microsoft 365 Email Essentials free trial for 12 months: 2 mailboxes on Economy, 3 on Deluxe, 5 on Ultimate and 5 on Web Hosting Plus, each with 10GB. Its plan page says activating the email "results in automatic renew at the then-current price until canceled", and GoDaddy's basket shows a list price of £6.49 per mailbox a month + VAT for Email Essentials (its email page advertised £0.99 per mailbox a month + VAT for a first 1-year term on 5 October 2026). Its card tooltip adds "Free cPanel email is also an option": GoDaddy's help centre lists cPanel email accounts up to 100 on Economy, 500 on Deluxe and unlimited on Ultimate. Brixly includes cPanel email under our Fair Usage Policy (note 8), with mailboxes of up to 10GB.
13. Brixly: support tickets and live chat 24/7, with Priority Support on Premium Hosting; phone support comes with Premium Enterprise and Platinum hosting, weekdays 10:00-16:00; management plans on cloud servers add server-level help. GoDaddy: its Web Hosting page offers "Free 24/7 support" by "phone and chat, including SMS", and its UK contact pages list 24/7 support on +44 20 7084 1810 and 24/7 chat. On the Reseller Programme it can support your customers 24/7 by phone or email under your brand, in English only (help article 40468). GoDaddy's Statement of Support covers platform tasks on self-managed VPS; server tasks such as DNS zone edits, email diagnosis and firewall changes are included on Fully Managed plans.
14. Brixly: 99.9% availability in any calendar month on web hosting, reseller hosting and cloud servers, with account credits for the affected service that rise by availability band from 5% to 100% of its monthly fee (on cloud servers, 5% below 100% and above 99.8% availability, up to 100% below 60%); 99.95% on Premium Hosting (credits of 10% to 100%) and Premium Reseller. Credits are claimed in writing within 7 days and measured on Brixly's records; exclusions include scheduled maintenance, outages in which Brixly observes or confirms no fault, and denial-of-service attacks. GoDaddy (Hosting Agreement, section 9, "Service Uptime Guarantee", revised 30 September 2026): 99.9% a month. If GoDaddy fails it "as solely determined by us", you may request a credit of 5% of that month's hosting fee, usable only for further GoDaddy products and services. Exclusions include scheduled maintenance, outages that only affect access such as FTP or email, and causes beyond its control. Exclusions apply under each provider's terms.
15. Money-back. Brixly: 30 days on every service, on monthly or yearly billing, including cloud servers, for consumers and businesses (Hosting Terms 13.3 and 17.3), excluding domains, SSL certificates and third-party licences such as WHMCS, cPanel, JetBackup and security licences. GoDaddy (Refund Policy, revised 14 September 2026): annual plans within 30 days; monthly plans, which include any term under a year, within 48 hours. Its Web Hosting page says: "You can request a full refund for annual plans within 30 days of purchase and within 48 hours of purchase for monthly plans". A hosting service already performed is non-refundable, configuration add-ons such as control panels are non-refundable, and if a product came with a free domain, the domain's list price is deducted from the refund. Hosting for WordPress: 30 days on plans of 12 months or more, 48 hours otherwise. The Reseller Programme refunds the annual licensing fee only, within 30 days (Reseller Agreement). GoDaddy has published a replacement Refund Policy, effective 15 October 2026 for customers it emailed on 15 September 2026, with the same windows from the date of initial purchase and no refunds on renewals.
16. Cost figures and charts use list prices checked 5 October 2026, + VAT unless marked inc VAT, and assume prices stay the same. They cover hosting only: domains, email, Website Security, Website Backup, WHMCS and other add-ons are excluded unless stated. Brixly monthly totals include the £1 first month (web and reseller) or the 50% first month (Premium); yearly totals are the yearly price paid each year. GoDaddy totals use its basket price for the term shown and the basket's renewal price for later terms; a payment due at the start of a year, including a prepaid term, counts in that year. On the web tab, "SSL kept" adds Economy's Standard SSL renewal (£89.99) at months 12 and 24. On the reseller tab, GoDaddy VPS figures add the cPanel/WHM licence for the same term and exclude the Standard SSL renewal (£89.99 a year); a "site" means one client hosting account (Brixly) or one website (GoDaddy web hosting); resources differ between routes (note 7). Inc VAT figures add 20% to each total; GoDaddy charges VAT invoice by invoice, so its own totals can differ by a penny or two.
17. Brixly web, Premium and reseller hosting can be hosted in the UK, USA or Germany, chosen at checkout at no extra cost; Brixly cloud servers run in our UK datacentre. GoDaddy's Web Hosting page mentions "data centers in North America and Europe" and doesn't name a country for its web hosting. Its VPS plan cards say "Choose from multiple data centers: United States, Europe and Singapore"; its VPS FAQ says "choose your server location in North America, Europe, or Asia-Pacific"; and its help article "Find the SMTP relay server for my VPS Hosting" lists U.S. (West), U.S. (East), Europe and Asia.
18. Brixly's free, self-serve Migration Centre moves cPanel accounts under 30GB from hosts with native cPanel backups enabled. It needs the old host's cPanel login and hostname, runs once at lower priority, and excludes a reseller's primary account, which our team helps with; our team also helps free with cPanel sources once the Migration Centre has been tried. From hosting that doesn't use cPanel, Brixly's free self-serve tools are Softaculous Remote Import (WordPress) and the Migration Centre's IMAP email migration, which needs each mailbox's password on both sides; other help moving files, databases or email is a paid service at our discretion. GoDaddy offers a free Site Auto Migration Tool into its web hosting during set-up; its Hosting Agreement describes Hosting Migrations as a courtesy service, not available for sites over 10GB or 100,000 files. Its Fully Managed VPS includes 5 site migrations, and its Agency Partner Program offers free white-glove migrations to annual hosting plans. GoDaddy's Hosting Agreement says hosted content is deleted when a plan ends; Brixly Hosting Terms 17.1.1 say all relevant material is automatically deleted when a service ends.
19. A cPanel full-account backup is a .tar.gz file containing the account's home directory (website files and email), MySQL databases, DNS zones, cron jobs, FTP accounts and SSL certificates (cPanel documentation: Backup Tarball Contents; Backup Wizard). In cPanel, Backup Wizard creates a full account backup you can download. WHM restores it with "Transfer or Restore a cPanel Account", and WHM's Transfer Tool copies accounts from cPanel & WHM, DirectAdmin or Plesk servers; each host decides whether resellers may use these tools themselves. GoDaddy's Web Hosting (cPanel) lets you download a tar.gz backup of the whole account from Daily Backups, or a full account backup from cPanel's Backup page (help articles 41157 and 19396).
20. GoDaddy Hosting for WordPress uses its own Managed WordPress panel and hosts WordPress sites only. Prices from its UK basket, 5 October 2026, + VAT: Basic £47.88 for 12 months, renewing at £143.88 a year; Deluxe £65.88, renewing at £179.88; Ultimate £83.88, renewing at £239.88. Every plan includes free SSL for the life of the plan, daily backups kept 30 days, automated malware scans and removal, and 1 website (more for a fee).
21. GoDaddy UK Reseller Programme, + VAT, GoDaddy's UK basket, 5 October 2026. Basic Reseller: £41.88 for 12 months (shown as 50% off £83.88), renewing at £83.88 a year; £124.56 for 24 months, renewing at £167.76; £208.44 for 36 months, renewing at £251.64. Pro Reseller: £65.88 for 12 months (50% off £131.88), renewing at £131.88 a year; £196.56 for 24 months, renewing at £263.76; £330.84 for 36 months, renewing at £395.64. Terms of 48, 60 and 120 months are also offered; no monthly term is offered. GoDaddy describes Basic as "Best for up to 25 customers" with "Standard buy rates, up to 20% off retail", and Pro as "Best for unlimited customers" with up to 40% off retail. GoDaddy's Reseller Agreement (revised 2 February 2026) refunds the annual licensing fee only, if you cancel within 30 days.
22. GoDaddy self-managed VPS, 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM, 100GB NVMe (the size GoDaddy marks "Recommended"), with the cPanel/WHM add-on, + VAT, GoDaddy's UK basket, 5 October 2026: 1-month term £29.99 + £15.99 = £45.98, renewing monthly at the same price; 12 months £215.88 + £191.88 = £407.76, renewing at £323.88 + £191.88 = £515.76 a year; 36 months £575.64 + £575.64 = £1,151.28, renewing at £791.64 + £575.64 = £1,367.28. With cPanel/WHM, 1 vCPU/2GB/40GB is £30.98 a month, £293.76 for 12 months (renewing at £347.76) or £845.28 for 36 months; 4 vCPU/8GB is £76.98 a month or £1,763.28 for 36 months. GoDaddy's cPanel licence allows unlimited accounts, with 100 as its fair-use guideline (Hosting Agreement, cPanel Fair Usage Policy). Self-managed means you patch and update the operating system and control panel; GoDaddy's Fully Managed VPS with cPanel is £94.99 a month (1 vCPU/2GB) or £109.99 (2 vCPU/4GB) on monthly terms. GoDaddy's help centre lists WHM on VPS Hosting only, and cPanel without WHM or root access on Web Hosting and Web Hosting Plus (help article 24633). Control panels are non-refundable configuration add-ons. On 12-month and longer terms the basket adds a Standard SSL free for the first year, which auto-renews at £89.99 a year. GoDaddy describes its VPS resources as dedicated; Brixly's reseller limits are per-account maximums on shared servers.
23. Brixly cPanel Reseller Entry holds 20 accounts with 50GB of storage in total. Pro plans hold 50, 100, 150 or 250 accounts (£24.95, £49.95, £69.95 and £114.95 a month + VAT) with no fixed plan-wide allowance; our Fair Usage Policy allows up to 50GB and 500,000 inodes per client account, and no account, including a reseller account, may use more than 10% of a server's resources. DirectAdmin Reseller holds 25 accounts (50GB, £9.95), 100 (£29.95) or 250 (£49.95) a month + VAT. For more accounts, add a plan.
24. Brixly: custom nameservers (for example ns1.yourdomain.com) are free on all reseller plans, with your domain at any registrar. GoDaddy: in the Reseller Control Center you can set your own custom nameservers as the default for customers' domains, and you are responsible for their zone files (help article 3892); on a VPS you can run your own nameservers with WHM.
25. GoDaddy Reseller Agreement (revised 2 February 2026): GoDaddy.com, LLC acts as principal and the reseller as its introduction or selling agent; GoDaddy collects payment and pays commission monthly, calculated as the difference between your sale price and cost, and may hold back 20% of commission for 90 days if chargebacks are high; by default GoDaddy provides 24/7 support to you and your customers, which you can opt out of; on termination "your customers' Services will default to us or a related entity"; the reseller account is non-transferable; Wild West Domains is the registrar of record for domains sold; Microsoft 365 plans are sold at GoDaddy's set prices with GoDaddy branding. GoDaddy's Statement of Support for Basic and Pro Resellers says checkout must be through GoDaddy's cart, and its help centre says that when customers enter secure areas of your storefront, the default secureserver.net address displays instead of your custom domain (help article 5040).
26. The Central Account Manager is in the Brixly client area for reseller customers (Reseller Tools > Central Account Manager). One-click login, Resource Boost+ and Workspace purchases work for cPanel and DirectAdmin accounts; Resource Boost+ and Brixly Workspace are paid add-ons.
27. Brixly sells WHMCS licences to active reseller customers: Starter £9.95, Plus £19.95, Professional £34.95 and Business from £59.95 a month + VAT. They are not covered by our money-back guarantee. Premium Reseller includes Starter.
28. Enscale requires a WHMCS installation you control, or use of the Enscale API, and a prepaid GBP credit balance. Wholesale prices are shown in the Brixly client area and may change. New services are charged any one-off setup fee shown in the wholesale price list plus the first billing period. Renewals are charged from credit before each due date, whether or not your customer has paid you. There is no fee to join Enscale.
29. GoDaddy Pro and the Hub (godaddy.com/en-uk/pro, /pro/hub and /pro/site-maintenance, 5 October 2026): GoDaddy describes the Hub as a free dashboard, with bulk updates of WordPress plugins, themes and core "no matter where sites are hosted", single sign-on and delegated access to clients' GoDaddy accounts, shared shopping carts and client reports. GoDaddy-hosted sites get its premium features (uptime monitor, SEO ranking reports, link monitor, white label, website backup, automated security and performance checks, advanced client reporting) at no extra cost; for sites hosted elsewhere, its Site Maintenance Pack ("Monitor and automate clients' sites hosted elsewhere") is £1.99 a month (1 site), £5.99 (5), £23.99 (25) or £78.99 (100), + VAT. GoDaddy's Agency Partner Program is free for qualifying web professionals using the Hub, with tiers Verified, Trusted (£1,888.22 rolling 12-month spend, agency and clients) and Recommended (£4,531.73), shown in GBP converted from US$2,500 and US$6,000: a team or dedicated agency success manager, Slack access, free trial products, free white-glove migrations to annual hosting plans and, at Recommended, client referrals and up to 20% of the initial cart value, tracked through CJ.
30. GoDaddy developer documentation (developer.godaddy.com, 5 October 2026): the v3 Domains API charges member-level discounted rates with no membership or API fee for any account with a billing method on file; auto-renewals keep the discounted rate and manual renewals are charged at standard rates. GoDaddy's Reseller Agreement also describes an API Reseller Programme for domains and email, with a prepaid account and no storefront, offered through its reseller team.
31. GoDaddy's reseller page lists domains, web hosting, business email, website builder, SSL certificates, servers, website security powered by Sucuri and Managed Hosting for WordPress; resellers can choose whether to sell Microsoft 365 (Reseller Agreement).
32. Brixly Premium Reseller: £89.95 a month + VAT for 50 cPanel accounts, plus £0.50 per extra account up to 250, billed monthly only; first month 50% off; includes a WHMCS Starter licence and a Customer Success Manager.
33. GoDaddy's VPS card prices are "For first 3-yr term" and are paid upfront for 36 months. Its configurator offers 1, 6, 12, 24 and 36-month terms, and its basket also offers 3, 48 and 60 months. Terms under 12 months are charged at the monthly rate (for example £109.99 a month + VAT for 8 vCPU / 16GB); 12 months at £64.99 a month (£779.88, renewing at £1,199.88); terms of 24 months or more at the same monthly rate as the 3-year term (24 months: £1,439.76 + VAT, renewing at £1,919.76). Renewal figures are those GoDaddy's basket showed on 5 October 2026 (for example "Renews October 2029 for £2,879.64"). GoDaddy says "Special introductory pricing valid for the initial purchase term only. Product renewal pricing subject to change", and its terms say renewals are charged at its then-current rates. The strikethrough prices on GoDaddy's cards (for example £99.99 a month) are its 12-month list rates. GoDaddy prices in this note exclude VAT.
34. Same resources: GoDaddy's 8 vCPU / 16GB RAM VPS and Brixly General 8 both have 8 vCPU, 16GB RAM and 400GB of NVMe storage; elsewhere, vCPU as each provider lists them. GoDaddy describes its VPS resources as dedicated ("Get full control with root access and dedicated resources"). Brixly does not state whether its vCPUs are dedicated. GoDaddy's VPS includes "unlimited traffic". Brixly sizes include 1TB to 20TB of transfer a month (16TB on General 8), and exceeding it suspends the server until the next month (Fair Usage Policy 6.1).
35. Brixly cloud servers are billed monthly with no minimum term, or yearly at 10 times the monthly price (cPanel licences are billed at 12 times monthly on yearly billing). There is no set-up fee and no first-month offer on cloud servers, and each is set up automatically, in under a minute (Brixly, 6 October 2026). Billing, cancellation and price changes: note 5.
36. Brixly cloud panel licences, a month + VAT: cPanel for 1 account £10, 5 £15, 30 £30, 50 £35 and up to 100 £40 (more tiers above); Plesk Web Admin (10 accounts) £15, Web Pro (30) £30, Web Host £40; DirectAdmin Personal Plus (2 accounts) £5 plus a £5 set-up fee (£50 on yearly billing), Lite £15, Standard £30. cPanel needs a server with at least 2 vCPU and 2GB RAM. GoDaddy self-managed VPS panels, a month + VAT, at every size and billed for the same term as the server: cPanel/WHM £15.99, Plesk Web Pro £15.99, Plesk Web Host £22.99. GoDaddy's Hosting Agreement says VPS with cPanel offers an unlimited number of accounts, treats 100 as normal use and may charge for or restrict accounts above that. GoDaddy's Refund Policy lists configuration add-ons as non-refundable.
37. Brixly management plans (Standard £20 a month, reactive; Premium £50 a month, proactive with 24/7 monitoring; + VAT) need a cPanel, Plesk or DirectAdmin licence; servers without a panel get network and hardware support only. GoDaddy Fully Managed VPS includes cPanel/WHM, managed patching and updates, monitoring and remediation, 7 days of snapshot backups and migration of 5 sites (US$30 per extra site) (Managed VPS page; Statement of Support). On 5 October 2026 its basket price at every size and term was the self-managed price plus the £15.99 cPanel licence plus £64.01 a month + VAT (for example 8 vCPU / 16GB on a 3-year term: £139.99 against £59.99 + £15.99). The two management services are scoped differently, so compare what's included as well as the price.
38. Cloud and VPS backups. Brixly: JetBackup or R1Soft, £9.95 a month for the licence or £19.95 with 1TB of off-site UK storage, + VAT. Brixly cloud servers include free, optional snapshot backups, kept for 7 days (Brixly, 6 October 2026). GoDaddy VPS: "7 days of automated snapshot backups, plus the option to create a single on-demand snapshot backup" (plan cards). Its VPS FAQ describes "automated weekly snapshots", and its help centre says each new automated backup replaces the previous one. Both providers' terms make the customer responsible for keeping their own server backups (Brixly Fair Usage Policy 4.3 and 6.1; GoDaddy Statement of Support – VPS Hosting).
39. Set-up: Brixly cloud servers are set up automatically, in under a minute (Brixly, 6 October 2026). GoDaddy VPS FAQ: "the average time for us to provision your account will likely be mere minutes, it may take up to 24 hours or more"; GoDaddy's help centre describes choosing the data centre and operating system in its dashboard ("Set up my VPS Hosting").
40. Extra IP addresses: Brixly £3 a month each + VAT. GoDaddy plan cards: 1, 2 or 3 additional IPs "available upon request" by plan size (its FAQ lists none on the smallest plan); its Managed VPS FAQ says "up to three complimentary dedicated IP addresses". GoDaddy shows no price for them.
41. Brixly cloud sizes: General (1 to 32 vCPU, 1GB to 128GB), CPU Optimised (8 to 32 vCPU), Memory Optimised (32GB to 192GB) and Storage Optimised (1TB to 8TB NVMe), 20 in all. GoDaddy UK VPS sizes: 1 vCPU/2GB/40GB, 2/4GB/100GB, 4/8GB/200GB, 4/16GB/200GB, 8/16GB/400GB, 8/32GB/400GB, 16/64GB/800GB and 32/128GB/1.5TB. GoDaddy's UK site sells no dedicated servers.
42. Brixly Premium Hosting's 50% off applies to the first monthly invoice only, not to yearly billing: £14.98 + VAT for Premium Business, £29.98 for Enterprise and £49.98 for Platinum. After that the monthly list price applies (£29.95, £59.95 and £99.95). Yearly billing is £299.50, £599.50 and £999.50. Prices can change (note 5).
43. GoDaddy Web Hosting Plus, + VAT, from the "High Performance" tab of godaddy.com/en-uk/hosting/web-hosting and GoDaddy's UK basket, 5 October 2026. First 1-year term: Launch £13.99 a month (£167.88), renewing at £335.88 a year; Enhance £21.99 (£263.88), renewing at £539.88; Grow £32.99 (£395.88), renewing at £779.88; Expand £42.99 (£515.88), renewing at £1,079.88. Monthly terms (1, 3 or 6 months): £29.99, £49.99, £69.99 and £99.99 a month, with no introductory price. Longer Launch terms: 2 years £470.16, 3 years £773.64 and 5 years £1,379.40, each renewing at £27.99 a month for the same term (£671.76, £1,007.64 and £1,679.40). Launch hosts 50 websites, Enhance 100, Grow 150 and Expand 200, and every plan includes unlimited databases and a free dedicated IP. GoDaddy says introductory pricing applies to the first term only and that renewal pricing is subject to change; its plans renew automatically until cancelled, and its terms apply price changes at renewal.
44. Brixly Premium includes LiteSpeed Enterprise with LSCache, and Redis (256MB on Business, 512MB on Enterprise, 1,024MB on Platinum). GoDaddy's Web Hosting Plus plan cards list no LiteSpeed, Redis or object caching, and its help centre article "What is Web Hosting Plus?" lists the platform as LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP). GoDaddy's separate Hosting for WordPress Ultimate plan includes Object Cache Pro.
45. On 5 October 2026, godaddy.com/en-uk/hosting/business-hosting redirected to /hosting/web-hosting-plus, which redirected to /hosting/web-hosting. There, Launch, Enhance, Grow and Expand are listed under "High Performance" and sold as Web Hosting Plus. GoDaddy's help centre describes Web Hosting Plus as "Web Hosting (cPanel), but with the power and resources of a private server".
